DALLAS—GSG commemorates 60 years with trade show promotions and product specials through 2010. Starting out as Texas Sign Supply, the company was founded 60 years ago in Dallas to provide supply materials to Texas’ growing sign industry. By 1966, Texas Screen Process Supply Company and Neo Sign Supply Company were created to accommodate the growing sign and screen industry. In Jan. 2001 the decision was made to merge and rename the company to Graphic Solutions Group Inc., now known as GSG.

IRVING, Texas—PPAI releases the first in a series of video tools for distributors titled Consumers Love Promotional Products. The videos are based on a two-part study designed by the association and fielded through independent research company MarketTools Inc. Scott E. Siegel, MAS, president of R.S. Owens & Company (Chicago) has been named chairman of the PPAI board. In addition to his board leadership responsibilities, Siegel works with fellow PPAI board of directors as well as PPAI committees, advisory councils and staff to fulfill the strategic goals of the association.
